House of Haven

Museum dwelling Huis van Haven takes you back to 1975-1976. To celebrate Almere's 50th anniversary. The very first residents (Amsterdammers) then left their too-small upper dwellings and got houses full of light and space in Almere in return. A dream come true! This all started in Almere Haven, so that is also the place for the museum house at Schoolwerf 68.

Step inside and go 50 years back in time. The house is open every Saturday and Sunday and regular activities are organised.
