During a tour around the Leeghwaterplas, you will encounter all kinds of things: The Bos der Onverzettelijken, the Hannie Schaftpark and the Almeerse district Waterwijk.

The Forest of Resistance honours all those who went into resistance against tyranny and oppression and worked for freedom and democracy during World War II. In 1992, 2,133 trees were planted (1 per Resistance man or woman). These trees are in groups, from Doctors Resistance to Pilots Resistance. Several monuments can also be found in this impressive forest.

The Hannie Schaftpark consists of several paths where you can enjoy a nice walk. Along the way, there are various games and sports equipment so you won't get bored along the way.

This round trip can be walked via several paths. The black route line is a standard route, but we challenge you to follow other paths as well. For example, you can walk along the islands (north side), but also follow the path along the Leeghwaterplas.
