Het Beginbos
The construction of Almere Haven began with Het Beginbos. This elongated strip joins the Vroege Vogelbos along the south side of the A6. It is separated from the built-up area by the Muidervaart canal. The Magpie's Nest can be found in Het Beginbos. There is a walking route along special trees. This is Almere's oldest and most varied forest.
het Beginbos is also home to the Beginbos mountain bike trail.
