Poppodium de Meester
Podium de Meester is Almere's pop venue, hosting concerts and dance nights in a wide range of genres every weekend.
There are recurring events on dubstep, live karaoke, singer-songwriter, heavy metal and hardcore, but regular nights are also organised with folk, hip-hop, rock, pop, celtic and reggae, for example.
Artists who have performed on stage at de Meester include; Waylon, The Opposites, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and Miss Montreal. Besides these big names, Podium de Meester is also a breeding ground for local talent through the "Support Your Local Heroes" nights, talent shows like Flavourland and Popsport as well as courses and workshops through Talent Academy.
