De Zeemeermin
A dreamy mermaid with wings and a flute. Its creator is Iranian artist Bozorg Khazraiek, who fled his homeland during the strict Islamic regime of Ayatollah Khomeini.
The artwork was fully restored in 2025, giving it a fresh, colourful new version.
This artwork is part of the Street Art walking route through Almere Centrum.
