The angled roof lights that become visible there connect the front and rear facades. They merge above the entrances into projecting windows shaped like cottages. These prominent facades, behind which the spaceframe remains visible, form the light yet monumental appearance of this station. The architectural movement Kilsdonk used here is called 'High Tech'. An optimistic form language in primary colours, which he also used for Zaandam, Duivendrecht and Lelystad Centrum.
