Café 't Bruggetje

Café 't Bruggetje is a piece of living history of Almere Haven. Back in 1981, this café opened its doors at 148 Brongouw, as a meeting place in the middle of the residential area. At a time when other catering establishments were emerging, 't Bruggetje managed to develop into something special: the oldest, smallest and only real neighbourhood café that is still very much alive in Almere Haven.

Where other neighbourhood cafés disappeared or changed, Café 't Bruggetje stayed true to its function: a place where people come together. For more than 14 years, the café has been lovingly run by Dick and Anita. They have turned it into a warm, Amsterdam neighbourhood café where everyone feels welcome.

Today, Café 't Bruggetje is still a trusted meeting place for residents from Almere and beyond. A café where stories are shared, friendships are made and where you can just drop in for a drink and a chat.
