Cherry blossom in Almere

Every year, it is a celebration when the cherry blossoms bloom again. In Almere, there are several locations where you can admire these beautiful trees. Ideal for a walk or photo shoot.

Terracottastraat Almere Buiten

This is the perfect location for a photo shoot or a nice walk. One long avenue with huge cherry blossoms. Many Almeerders and tourists have gone before you and visited this place to shoot the most beautiful content.

Siennastraat Almere Buiten

Close to Terracotta Street you will find this avenue. This one is fairly similar. The trees are slightly smaller. The advantage of this avenue is that at the end (towards the A6) are the Rooie Donders. So the blossoms and this architectural highlight can be combined in your photos or videos. Route

Fancy a walk? Then follow the route from Station Almere Buiten Centrum to Station Almere Oostvaarders. This route takes you past the cherry blossoms and also contains information about these particularly beautiful trees. View the route online via Google Maps!

Muzenpark Almere Stad

In the Muzenpark in Muziekwijk, you will also find a whole row of cherry blossoms. These are not that big (yet), but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Extra tip: In this park, you'll find lots of different trees introduced with posts. So you get to know many tree species in a very short time!
