‘Between Art and Christmas’ is organised by the 12 artists who have their studios at De Steiger 206, joined by no fewer than 17 new, carefully selected guest artists, each with their own distinctive and personal style. As a result, there is plenty to see and buy. The participating artists are presenting small, affordable artworks especially for this edition. The range varies from drawings and paintings to photography, ceramics, textiles, woodwork and jewellery. You can get an art pass for just 5 euros! You can also have a live portrait painted or get a flash tattoo. With prices ranging from €5 to €500, there’s a unique, handmade gift to suit every budget. There’s also food and drink available.
Admission to the event is free. Unfortunately, ‘Between Art and Christmas’ is not fully wheelchair accessible, as there is a steep flight of stairs leading to the upper floor and we do not have a lift. However, the art cards and the retrospective exhibition on the ground floor are accessible.
A perfect place to find unique, handmade gifts for the festive season and enjoy a cosy Christmas atmosphere.
