About Zin & Zinnen

The world is complex. News, choices, expectations, it's a lot. Zin& Zinnen is a philosophical book club for young Almeerders (16-30 years old) who, in the midst of this chaos, are looking for something that does make sense. Something that helps make sense of it all.

You will read books on Buddhism, Taoism and other philosophies. Schools of thought that are not about winning or achievement, but about balance, awareness and connection. Not heavy material, but stimulating ideas that help you see life in a different way.

Every month, you meet in Almere to discuss a book over a cup of coffee or tea. Not scholarly, but in-depth. You don't have to know anything about philosophy. If you are open to new insights and like to think together, you are welcome.

Zin & Zinnen is for people like you. People who don't just want to take the world as it is, but want to understand it, order it and feel it. And just want to be quiet now and then. Will you join us?
