With ‘Wisten wij veel’, Freek de Jonge presents the fourth instalment of his memoirs not only in book form, but also on stage. In the theatre production of the same name, he looks back on the years 1969–1980: the period in which his life as a theatre maker took a decisive turn. Garrelt Verhoeven will be in conversation with Freek about his book. These were the years of his meeting with Hella, of the rise and glory days of *Neerlands Hoop* – which he formed with Bram Vermeulen – right through to the break-up of the duo and the start of his solo career with *De Komiek*.
