Tour of Regenboogbuurt
Discover the Regenboogbuurt neighbourhood in Almere! During this special tour, inspired by the 2016 book 'Icons of Almere'! You will be taken past architectural masterpieces, including the famous'Rooie Donders' designed by renowned former government architect Liesbeth van der Pol. Admire these icons, which already show off from the A6, and wonder how they acquired their unique shape and colour.
But there is more! The Regenboogbuurt is not only home to architectural gems, but also other fascinating icons waiting to be discovered. Curious about the stories behind these extraordinary creations? Experience it for yourself and join the guided tour.
Starting and finishing point is the district office at the schoolyard of primary school Het Spectrum, next to DekaMarkt, Regenboogweg 47, 1339 ET Almere.
