Children’s Book Week | Workshop: ‘Make a trailer for your favourite book’ (7+)

For children in Years 6, 7 and 8, there’s another special film workshop – this time, you’ll be making your own trailer for your favourite book!

During this workshop, you’ll work in a group of three or four to film a trailer for your favourite book and learn how a media creator goes about their work. The trailer will show why the book is so special. You’ll also learn all sorts of film techniques to make it as good as possible. We’ll be working with a green screen, animation, voice-overs, special effects, sound effects, skill shots and interview techniques. And don’t forget: who will win the prize for the best trailer?

The workshop is free, with a maximum of 15 participants.
