Construction starts in Almere Haven, the first, multi-city district. The first homes are emerging at Schoolwerf.
The first residents of Almere, Henk and Lia de Clerk, receive the keys to their home at Schoolwerf in Almere Haven on 30 November 1976 from Minister Tjerk Westerterp of Transport and Public Works.
