A forest full of surprises
Het Museumbos is part of the Almeerderhout. This wood is full of landscape parks (7 of them!) that separately have an area of 1 hectare. These parts have been designed by different designers and artists each time.

The Forestry Commission has created a beautiful route through het Museumbos. The route is 5 kilometres and goes right through all the landscape parks. Follow the brown posts and have a good look around!

How to get there?
Het Museumbos is easiest to reach by car. You can park in the small car park on Meesweg. This is also where the Museum Forest Trail starts
What will you come across?
- Almere Boven - A 30-metre-high circular mountain with stunning views of the surrounding area
- The Labyrinth - A maze of 368 hornbeams. Do you know how to find your way to the centre?
- An Elderberry Forest where you can pick elderberries
- Discover the rest with your own eyes!
