The police station is a U-shaped complex with aluminium wings on a dark, receding base. The two legs of the U are predominantly closed on the outside. At the entrance to the courtyard, the corners of these legs are glass. The main entrance, located on the other side of the square, has an all-glass façade. The upper of the four floors is wider on the square side and rests on slender columns. These front the side walls and are made of red cedar. The pent roof has a slightly curved profile and rises slightly towards the courtyard, an architectural arrangement with which the architect wants to express the protective, safe character of this public service. By using a lot of transparent material in the courtyard, the building simultaneously tells of the openness to visitors and users that the police also want to put into practice. At the rear are the cells, parking space and technical facilities.
