Souvenirs from the Old Country
A series of six monumental tree stumps in the Meerveld district in Almere Haven, built in 1999, refer to the old country. The stumps are bronze casts of old tree remains the artist found in the Haarlemmerhout near Haarlem. Buisman is concerned with growth processes in nature.
