King's Night and King's Day
Sunday 26 and Monday 27 April
For Koningsdag, of course you stay in Almere. In Almere, the festivities always start the evening before! On Sunday 26 April from 5pm, Almere's Koningsnacht (King's Night) starts with free markets on the usual squares in the centres of Almere Centrum, Haven and Buiten, as well as the Lumièrepark in Almere Stad and the Cascadepark in Poort. These will last until 5pm the next day (Sunday 26 April). Both Koningsnacht and Koningsdag will be one big party in Almere Centrum with performances on the Grote Markt. One thing is certain, you won't have to leave Almere for Kings Day this year either!
King's Night Almere Centrum
In Almere Centrum , the party starts on Sunday 26 April at 17:00. There will be a stage on the Grote Markt where various artists will perform. During Kings Night Dance you will party with various DJs until midnight.

There is no better place to celebrate Koningsdag than in Almere Centrum. Experience the full range of the centre as you stroll around the free markets. Or have a nice drink on one of the cosy terraces while enjoying the many performances on the Grote Markt.

Take a bike or public transport
Due to the expected crowds, we recommend you visit the city districts by public transport or bicycle.
Stadhuisplein bus stop
Bus stop Stadhuisplein cannot be used from Sunday afternoon 26 April 13.00 until Monday night 27 April 1.00. Get off at bus stop Station Centrum, Flevoziekenhuis or Passage.
Toilets
The municipality will install extra toilets in the free market area in Stad, Buiten, Haven and Poort especially for King's Night and King's Day.
