Around Weerwater
Take a walk around het Weerwater and discover how diverse Almere is. You'll pass modern architecture, a slice of nature and fun spots. Of course, you will also walk through the former Floriadeterrein, which is also the future Hortus district.
You start at the Esplanade, a year-round square used as a place to unwind. Here you have views over het Weerwater. Nice weather? Then chill out on the beach!
Along the way, you'll pass Lumièrepark and head over the new Weerwater bridge to the former Floriade grounds. Further on, you'll find View Almere and Cablepark View Almere. A cool place to relax for a while or seek action on the water by waterskiing or wakeboarding.

On the way to the city centre, you can very well see Almere's skyline, formed by its modern structures like The Wave and the Side by Side. As you follow the route, you get closer and closer and can admire the buildings up close.
You end in Almere Centrum where you can unwind at one of the many catering establishments. Or go shopping, to the theatre or the cinema. There is plenty to do here for young and old!
