Almere architect René van Zuuk was allowed to start designing a new building in 1999. This building would be part of the Almere skyline on het Weerwater. This resulted in the beautiful design of The Wave. In 2004, the building was completed and now it is impossible to imagine life without it!

Proudly

René is proud of his creation. Especially when he sees when tourists go to The Wave to take photos of the building. Because this building is close to Almere Centrum , this is a very accessible location. So you regularly see photos popping up on social media.
