It worked! Almere City FC has been retained, Almere is here to stay! After a tough start to the season, coach Alex Pastoor and his team have transformed Almere City FC into a worthy Eredivisie team! This milestone is just the beginning of the fantastic story that Almere City FC will write into the history books!

Enforcement needs to be celebrated, of course! And who else than the mascot Almere the Monkey as the perfect choice to lead this celebration. Almere decides to go on holiday, and where else but in Almere itself. During his holiday, Almere escapes from all the football for a while and goes to discover the highlights of Almere, soak up local atmosphere and, above all, enjoy everything Almere has to offer!

And this is where Almere's holiday ends! At Marina Muiderzand , Almere the Monkey enjoys a relaxing afternoon together with Almere Junior. They watch the catamarans skim across the water and enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Feeling satisfied, Almere looks back on a great adventure in Almere and is looking forward to the upcoming Eredivisie season with great anticipation! It was a holiday full of fun, adventure and of course joy because of the celebration of Almere City FC's retention. See you next season!
