Joe Speedboat

After a bizarre accident leaves Fransje Hermans in a wheelchair, he seems doomed to spend his days in the slovenly village of Lomark. The accident prevents him from moving and talking, and apart from one functional arm, his life seems hopeless.

That changes, however, when charismatic and reckless newcomer Joe Speedboat arrives and strikes up an unlikely friendship with Fransje. Will it help Fransje realise his passionate dreams, satisfy his longing for the enchanting PJ or is he just another project of the adventure-hungry Joe?
