Festival Spot

Festival Spot on Whit Monday is the annual HotSpot for nature lovers and small-scale festivals on the Almere side of the Oostvaardersplassen. For bird spotters or hipsters, young and old. A sampling of the varied annual programme at Natuurbelevingcentrum de Oostvaarders with many different activities and experiences.

A true nature parade where you can come and spot the Nature Experience Centre's activities in advance. How about old Dutch games, excursions by the Forestry Commission, the 'Wheel of Adventure', street theatre, making your own paper, experimenting with soap bubbles, the exciting animal game, magic shows, a market and workshops, or crawl into an owl made of recycled milk cartons, help make Almere's longest garland or climb a 7-metre (!) tree?

In addition to the extensive programme of activities, Paviljoen de Oostvaarders will have a terrace around Natuurbelevingcentrum de Oostvaarders and there will be beanbags and, of course, hoops and face painting again. There will also be a market with fun items from the likes of Moonfire, Wool Union , Proef-Lokaal, Eco-Theetuin, Sweets to share, Bracelets by Nature and more.
