LNA Drawing course Drawing from Imagination (13-18 years)

During these classes, students develop essential drawing skills that will help them draw more confidently from their imagination. The course covers basic principles such as perspective, shape, line and tonal value, and shows how to apply them creatively. Under Patrick's guidance, students learn to reduce complex shapes to simple elements and use them to build clear, original images.

Patrick Hauwert
Patrick (28) is an illustrator and student at the Willem de Kooning Academy. Specialising in figurative drawing, he brings a thoughtful and practical teaching style, shaped by years of self-study. Patrick is an instructor at LNA and provides clear guidance and creative inspiration during these sessions, allowing participants to develop their skills and build self-confidence.

Materials
Paper, pencils and erasers will be provided.
Recommended to bring: a sketchbook and a fineliner.

  • Location: Luna Nguyen Atelier | Almere Stad
  • Time: 14:30-16:00 (1.5 hours)
  • Duration: From Sunday 15 February to Sunday 28 June 2026 (except public holidays)
  • Number of lessons: 16
  • Capacity: Maximum 12 participants, first come, first served

Cost

  • €192 per student for the full course (including basic drawing materials)

Payment options

  • Payment of the full course fee in one go
  • Payment in two instalments:
    • €96 before the start of the course (February, March and April - 8 lessons)
    • €96 in May (May and June - 8 lessons)
  • Trial lesson: €12 per person per lesson

When registering, please indicate which payment option you prefer. You will then receive a payment link via the specified e-mail address.

It is strongly recommended to join the course from the beginning, as each lesson focuses on a specific skill and these skills build on each other.

Students are additionally welcome to join the weekly Sunday model drawing session from 16:30-18:30, an excellent complement to the lessons.
