Jaap Reesema

Jaap Reesema goes on tour with Wie ik ben - a personal and musical journey through theatres across the country. Together with his full band, he will not only bring his latest album Sprakeloos to life, but also play his greatest hits and other special songs.

"It feels like I have entered a new phase. You meet people, you lose people. My children are getting older, going to school. That realisation, those moments of happiness and vulnerability, are the basis of this album AND this tour."

With his regular team, consisting of Arno Krabman and Joren van der Voort, Jaap worked intensively on Sprakeloos. The result? A versatile and sincere album, with the recognisable Jaap sound as well as surprising collaborations with Ronnie Flex and Trobi.

During Who I Am, Jaap once again shows why he managed to touch the entire Netherlands with his beautiful voice in Best Singers, culminating in his moving version of Grey. The impressive harmonies make this tour extra special and take the music to an even higher level.
