H Is For Hawk

H is for Hawk is a moving story about grief, family relationships and the power of nature, based on Helen Macdonald's bestseller of the same name and masterfully brought to life by Claire Foy and Brendan Gleeson.

When Helen unexpectedly loses her father Alistair, her world collapses. Overcome with grief, she takes in a hawk with the aim of training this fearless bird. This attempt to keep alive the memories of her father and their shared love of nature offers Helen a distraction from her grief, but also leads to misunderstanding from those around her. Yet a deep bond develops between Helen and the bird, which allows her to rediscover the beauty of the world around her.
