Stories from the shepherd's hut

Step inside the cosy Herdershut in the schaapskooi of the Vroege Vogelbos and get carried away in a world full of stories! During Verhalen uit de Herdershut, volunteers from Stad & Natuur read out beautiful stories with the help of a storytelling box - also known as Kamishibai, a Japanese storytelling tradition that magically combines image and story.

Children (and parents!) can choose their own story from our collection, after which the storyteller brings the story to life with drawings and voice. Every time is different, every time is special!

This fun reading session is perfect for children of all ages and takes place this Friday. Come along, sit down, listen, watch and experience the best stories with us.
