Sirat
Sirat is a spectacular cinematic trip in which a missing daughter, desert sands and Kangding Ray's electronic beats create a unique cinematic experience. The Moroccan desert forms the imposing backdrop to this dangerous quest, with some memorable moments that put Spanish director Oliver Laxe definitively on the map.
Luis (Sergi López) arrives with his infant son Esteban (Bruno Núñez Arjona) at an illegal rave deep in the desert in southern Morocco. He is looking for his daughter Mar, who disappeared months ago during one of these boundless parties. Desperate to find any last trace of Mar, they follow a group of ravers even deeper into the desert. This becomes a physical and spiritual trip, accompanied by a hypnotic soundtrack.
