Guitar festival 'Harvest Moon

'Harvest Moon' is the theme of the Guitar Festival on Saturday 11 October. The festival brings dozens of guitarists from different ensembles, soloists and guest participants together in Almere for a musical day with inspiring performances and a great ensemble session.

The ensembles performing are Guitar Ensemble Gitalento led by Drieëtte Reesinck, the Noord Nederlands Gitaarensemble led by Erik Westerhof; and Guitar Orchestra Ponticello, Guitarrísimo and the Nederlands Jeugd Gitaarorkest (NJGO), all three led by Peter Constant. Special guest artists are dancer Jolijn van Houten, recorder Stephanie Brandt, students of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and Z.o.o. guitar Duo & friends. Guitar maker Gerrit van Bergeijk will present some of his guitars and talk about his work.
