In an energetic new performance, de Toneelmakerij and DOX take you on a dizzying adventure full of dance, music and magic. Bam - pats - boom! Alice, after an endless fall down a rabbit hole, finds herself in Wonderland, which is nothing like what she is used to. The normally confident Alice gets lost among teardrop lakes and rose gardens. One moment she is minuscule, then metres tall. She can't keep up with the panicking rabbit, the disapproving caterpillar and the headless cat. To make matters worse, there is an intrusive alter ego that challenges and contradicts her.

After the stunner 'Giselle' (the family performance of 2024 according to Het Parool) and 'The Hot Peaches', de Toneelmakerij and DOX join forces again. 'Alice in Wonderland' is a dreamlike coming-of-age about letting go of what you already know, finding your voice and the power of not knowing.
