A Family

A Family is director Mees Peijnenburg's second feature film, with roles by Finn Vogels as Eli, Celeste Holsheimer as Nina, and with Carice van Houten as their mother Maria, and Belgian actor Pieter Embrechts as their father Jacob.

Caught in the struggle of their parents' divorce, Nina and Eli retreat into their own world, torn between loyalty, anger and the desire to be seen. From two mirrored perspectives, one story unfolds that shows how love can break and still find its way home.
