BuitenLIVE Street Parade
On Friday 5 September, Almere Buiten Centrum will be transformed into a lively open-air theatre during the BuitenLIVE Street Parade. During this unique street festival, no fewer than twelve musical and theatrical acts will make their way through the city centre via various routes. Along the way, they regularly cross paths, leading to spontaneous joint performances that never fail to surprise visitors.
As well as the roaming acts, there will be fixed programme items at various locations. On Globeplein, you can enjoy Hoog Tevree and Karavaan, whilst the Vinyldraaiers spin their finest vintage records. On Noordeindeplein, Potten en Pannen will provide an interactive experience. Children can not only watch here, but also get actively involved.
The atmosphere is key at BuitenLIVE. There are deliberately no large stages, marquees or sound systems. With the exception of the Vinyldraaiers, all performances are entirely acoustic. This creates a relaxed festival experience where music, socialising and creativity come together in the streets of Almere Buiten.
