Bert Pieters invites you to the inner garden of The New Library to celebrate the Second National Outdoor Reading Day together. Will you come too?
Bring your favourite book and nestle in the greenery. Come for a quiet read or recite your favourite excerpt to other book lovers. Engage in conversation with old acquaintances or new faces about anything that touches you in a book. Be it prose or poetry, fiction, non-fiction or science fiction. Just talk about the weather, or what the library means to you.
Share, listen, discover and be surprised by the power of stories. And all in the open air.
