CFF: Blue Bayou (12+)
On 11, 12 and 13 June, we will organise the Corrosia Film Summer Festival (CFF) with impressive films you must have seen. Check the website under specials for the entire programme, as we also offer introductions, workshops and day tickets, so you can watch all the films for 15 euros a day!
In Blue Bayou, writer and director Justin Chon tells the moving and timely story of an American family fighting for their future. Antonio LeBlanc (Chon) is adopted and of Korean descent. He grew up in a small town located near the swamps of Louisiana. Antonio is married to Kathy (Alicia Vikander), the love of his life, and also stepfather to their daughter Jessie. He works hard to provide a better life for his family, but suddenly has to face his past when he discovers he could be deported from the only country he ever called home.
