Open Monument Day – special guest Jan de Vletter at Huis van Haven

Open Monument Day takes place on 12 and 13 September. The national theme is: ‘Resilient Heritage: in times of uncertainty’. To mark the Province’s anniversary, Flevoland is hosting this year’s National Opening on 11 September. This will take place at Bataviawerf in Lelystad. There is also a special programme at the Goede Rede Church Centre. Of course, the Huis van Haven Museum House will also be open on these special days, from 11.00 to 17.00.

Especially for this occasion, Jan de Vletter will be our guest at the Museum House on Saturday 12 September (from 2 pm to 5 pm). He is one of the architects behind Almere and will be talking at the kitchen table about the early years of our (‘his’) city. Do come along – it’s free. The coffee’s on.
