Afternoon concert: Noota Sax Duo - 'Nota Bene!'

Saxophonists David Cristóbal Litago and Marijke Schröer together form the Noota Saxophone Duo. They play a varied programme, with beautiful stories and explanations. In 'Nota Bene' we hear different types of saxophones: from bass to sopranino. With carillon concert beforehand.

MIDDLE CONCERTS. The afternoon concert series consists of small one-hour concerts. The price includes refreshments. A complete afternoon out!

Armed with a car full of saxophones and an iPad full of music, Noota prefers to hit the road to the most diverse concert venues. Especially for Goede Rede Concerten, the duo put together a varied and accessible programme, packed with breathtaking techniques and swinging notes.

The Noota Saxophone Duo is a young and international duo formed by David Cristóbal Litago (Spanish) and Marijke Schröer (Dutch). They got to know each other while studying at the Conservatorium in Amsterdam and through the Melisma Saxophone Quartet in which they both play. The duo has given concerts at various festivals and can be heard several times on radio4. They also regularly collaborate with composers.
