Floor Jansen - Uitverkocht

Brabant-based Floor Jansen's musical journey began in 1995 with symphonic metal band After Forever, with which she travelled the world. When the band quit, she joined Finnish multi-platinum metal band Nightwish, with which she was recognised by the Finnish Hall of Fame. While she had been known worldwide for years, she broke through to Dutch audiences in 2019 thanks to her participation in the TV programme Best Singers and her rendition of 'The Phantom Of The Opera' with Henk Poort. In the same year, she received recognition for her contribution to Dutch pop music in the form of the Dutch Pop Award. Moreover, with her most recent work, she shows that she also knows how to appeal to people outside the metal scene with her personal and emotional songs.

In her first own theatre show Strijdlust, Floor Jansen takes you on an emotional journey through the highs and lows of her recent experiences, with lyrics and music. This show is a powerful reminder that even in our darkest moments, we can find the strength to go on and excel.
