Almere celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Many gardeners open their gardens to curious visitors. The sheepfold holds an open stall and Bosvarkens Almere talks (with piglets) about its work in Almere. Will you come and take a look? Looking for the perfect garden, a sleek ornamental garden or a fertile vegetable garden? The gardeners are proud owners with green fingers and love to chat about what moves and inspires them. Come marvel and learn from their approach. Ask questions, jot down plant names and be surprised by what is already growing and blooming in June. Feel free to bring a notebook or a bag for any swap cuttings.
Visitors are welcome from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to walk around the participating gardens themselves. There is ample parking space. The gates will be open and in the clubhouse you will receive a map and list of participating gardens.
