Keti Koti Kidsparade
On Tuesday 1 July 2025, the Keti Koti Kids Parade will once again take place - a colourful and meaningful event for all children. The parade is not only a festive act, but also a powerful moment of remembrance, celebration and learning.
Walk along during the Keti Koti Kids parade too! Everyone wears their finest or traditional clothing. Together, we carry symbolic cloths from Africa, Suriname and the Caribbean - fabrics associated with the slavery past. Accompanied by a brass band, we walk this parade together with family and friends.
Keti Koti Kids Parade is organised by ArtPlayground in cooperation with Kunstlinie, zaal X, Stichting Keti Koti Flevoland and De Nieuwe Bibliotheek, among others.
