Archery is a surprisingly fun sport that is quick to learn and immediately satisfying. During the open enrolment at Outdoorpark SEC Almere , you will be introduced to this special activity in an active and fun way!
What can you expect?
Everyone can join in! Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you step onto the archery range and learn step by step how to hit the bullseye with a bow and arrow. You start with a clear explanation of safety and technique: the correct posture, sharp aiming, tightening and releasing. Is the weather less clement? No problem, we will shoot on the indoor range.

From practice to competition
After the instruction, you will practice and shoot several arrows to get a feel for the technique. The instructor will give personal tips and help you improve your posture. Then the battle ensues in an exciting competition! In several rounds, you will try to score as many points as possible, with a few challenging targets as a final. Will you be the one to hit the bull's-eye?
