Skechers Almere Weerwater Run 2026

Runners beware: the Skechers Almere Weerwater Run returns on Sunday 14 June! On this day, Almere will once again be all about sportsmanship and experience along the beautiful Weerwater. This year, too, the running event offers the popular distances: 15 kilometres, 10 kilometres and the 5-kilometre Rondje Weerwater. Especially for the youngest participants, there is a Kids Run of 1 kilometre and companies can take up the challenge on the 15, 10 and 5 kilometres. The start and finish are traditionally on the Esplanade, where participants and supporters gather for a morning of sportsmanship and fun. The course leads along the iconic Weerwater and through Almere's green heart. This running festival in Almere is not something you want to miss!
