Memory in Music

The planned concert programme has been changed due to the unexpected death of violinist Alexei Moshkov (1968-2025), concertmaster of the National Orchestra of Belgium and a dear colleague to many musicians. In his memory, his close friend, pianist Ashot Khachatourian, will give a special solo recital as a musical tribute.

Ashot Khachatourian is known for his passionate playing, sensitivity and refined sound. Especially for this evening, he put together a personal programme of works by Chopin and Rachmaninov - composers who played an important role in Alexei Moshkov's musical life.

The recital offers not only beautiful music, but also space for reflection and gratitude for the inspiration, warmth and friendship Alexei left behind. A subdued and meaningful evening for anyone who wants to be touched by music that speaks directly from the heart.
