Exhibition 50 paintings
Schildervereniging VKA, Almere's oldest painting association, has existed since 14 October 1989 and has an average of around 30 members.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Feest Almere, the VKA art association has organised a special exhibition featuring 50 framed paintings, all inspired by Almere. Each work tells its own story: about the artist’s inspiration and the spot in the city that has been captured. From distinctive architecture and works of art to nature and hidden spots – Almere has been a rich source of inspiration for many years. With this exhibition, the VKA painters’ association aims to showcase just how versatile and beautiful the city is, and to proudly make a creative contribution to it.
