Queer Comedy Night

After a successful first edition, Queer Comedy Night is back at De Nieuwe Bibliotheek! On Thursday 4 July 2025, none other than Jörgen Raymann - winner of the Winq Almere Award 2024 - presents this festive comedy night as MC.

Get ready for an evening of unforgettable jokes and scintillating performances by queer comedians such as Nelson Martinez, Peter Sanders, Frank Huiskamp and Anne Ruitenberg. Whether you belong to the LGBT+ community yourself or just fancy a positive, open atmosphere with plenty of humour - this evening is for everyone.

The Queer Comedy Night is a collaboration between Pride Almere and De Nieuwe Bibliotheek and promises plenty of laughs, screams and roars in a safe and inclusive setting.
