Kids Culture Tasting

This afternoon is a collaboration with Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Almere. This fund helps families who cannot afford the tuition fees. Because every child deserves to participate!

• United Dance Almere - learn cool dance moves during this fun dance workshop.
• Want to learn to play the guitar? Take part in the introductory lesson of the VVFLEX Foundation.
• Would you like to play keyboard? You can do that too at VVFLEX Foundation. Join this workshop.
• Discover the violin and even learn to play a piece during De Vioolsleutel's workshop.

• Step into the world of spontaneous music with Vocal Improv! In this workshop by VVFLEX Foundation, we use our voices in different ways: rap, singing, word art, beatboxing and the craziest sounds you can make! No experience is necessary - everyone is welcome. It's all about freedom, creativity and daring to follow your musical instinct.

• Kliederlab workshop. While making a mess, all senses are stimulated. Stimulating and discovering the senses is crucial for young children's development. So come and mess around too!

• Art workshop by ARTelier Palet Companion. Art is all about effect: it has to touch you or make you think. You have to experience it! That's why we will work with abstract art.

At Het Nieuwe Plein in Stad library, from 12.00 to 15.00, you will find a market with various cultural clubs. You will be introduced to:

• Opening by Jörgen Raymann: we are delighted to announce that Jörgen Raymann will be opening the Kids Culture Tasting ! During this opening, he will explain why attending a cultural activity is so important for a child and announce his new ambassadorship for the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Almere. Don't miss this! Afterwards, visit the information market and your child can attend one of the workshops below for free.
• ARTelier Palet Gezelschap: discover ARTelier Palet Gezelschap, where creativity knows no bounds and artistic journeys take flight! Their mission is simple: to offer everyone a warm and welcoming space to explore the wonderful world of art, regardless of your skill level. Whether you are a beginner in the art world or want to improve your skills, the classes are right for you. They see art as an exciting journey and are excited to be part of your adventure. ARTelier Palette Companionship focuses on key media such as sketching, oil pastel crayons, watercolours and acrylics, giving you a well-rounded artistic experience.
• De Nieuwe Bibliotheek: The library organises cultural youth activities throughout the year. Such as creative workshops, theatre performances, youth films and more. You can find all activities in our children's calendar.
  Do you have or know a child who would like to take part in these activities? But no money at home? Then you can apply for the Culture Club Card.
• The Violin Key: At the Vioolsleutel you get custom-made violin lessons. Juf Dien uses a special method to give violin lessons to primary school children, secondary school pupils and the elderly. To beginners and advanced players. For more information, please visit the website: De Vioolsleutel.
• Kliederlab: At the Kliederlab, children experience fun by exploring and discovering together or alone. Children can have fun playing and nothing can go wrong. It is not important that the child makes something "beautiful", but that they have enjoyed playing. We consider the process more important than the result. So if they don't succeed, they can just start all over again. This can boost children's self-confidence. There will be several activities ready for children to play, discover and experiment with their parents.
• Luna Nguyen Atelier: Art classes and workshops are held at Luna, including drawing, painting, textile design (handmade and digital), textile painting, painting on silk, batik art, embroidery (abstract and realistic) and jewellery making (beads, silver play). Also in English and Vietnamese!
• United Dance Almere: At United Dance Almere, you can enjoy dance classes in various dance styles, from as young as 2 years old and also for adults. These include ballet, tap dance, street dance, contemporary, hip hop, afrodance and much more. They also organise workshops and other activities such as discos, film nights and a dance camp. So there is something for everyone!
• VV Flex: The name VVFLEX is an abbreviation that stands for Verscheidenheid, Veelzijdigheid en Flexibiliteit in arts, cultures & people. They offer a culturally diverse programme consisting of contemporary music genres and forms popular among young people. Among other styles and elements from urban and youth (sub)cultures, as well as art and culture from various ethnic backgrounds, are highlighted. • Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Almere: The Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur pays the contribution or tuition fees for children aged 2 to 17 who, for financial reasons, cannot become a member of a sports association/cultural institution or cannot obtain swimming diplomas A-B-C. Via the Youth Fund, you can apply for the Culture Club Card and join cultural activities at The New Library free of charge for a year.
• Innercircle Foundation: The InnerCircle Foundation is committed to bringing art and culture close to people. The foundation gives vulnerable artists opportunities to grow. At events, the foundation brings people together who normally do not come into contact with each other. By doing so, the foundation wants to create a pleasant environment where everyone can enjoy art and culture together.
