Zomer in Haven – Muntjesvaren botters

On 5 and 6 September, you can once again go botter sailing in Almere Haven. Board a botter for a small contribution and take a 45-minute trip across the Gooimeer. During this special experience, you will sail on a historic ship and discover what life on the water used to be like. The botter is a characteristic fishing vessel and an important part of the Netherlands' Cultural Sailing Heritage.

Whilst enjoying the view over the Gooimeer, you’ll learn more about the history of these boats and their significance to Dutch water culture. An accessible and educational activity for young and old alike.
