How safe is your neighbourhood?

From 25 November to 10 December 2025, Almere will be coloured orange during Orange the World, the international campaign against violence against women and girls. With films, lectures, exhibitions and community activities, the subject will be made accessible for discussion and the power of solidarity will be made visible.

An interactive Orange the World event with activities for all ages will take place during the campaign. Think information stands, workshops, meetings and creative sessions around the theme.

The programme is co-sponsored by De Schoor Foundation, the Police, Safe Home, De Blijf Groep and various other organisations involved. The official opening will be performed by the alderman for Care and Welfare.
