Vis à Vis presents BABY BLUE

BABY BLUE is a compelling theatre show full of humour and unexpected twists. In this musical crime-comedy, a new neighbourhood is built with might and main in which nothing is what it seems. Delve into a world where people prefer to cast everything in concrete, while life is constantly under construction.

The performance BABY BLUE is a collaboration of Vis à Vis with De Leedbewakers . De Leedbewakers make physical and absurdist theatre full of action and poetry.

BABY BLUE can be seen from 22 May to 27 July 2025 at Vis à Vis open-air theatre.

Special dates

Kidsproof
On Sunday 22 July, Vis à Vis will have a special introduction for children and their parents/guardians prior to the performance BABY BLUE.
Start introduction: 2 pm.
Duration of introduction: approx. 30 minutes
Start of performance: 3 pm

With the introduction for children aged 8-16 (and their parents/guardians), Vis à Vis ensures that everyone starts the performance well prepared and with some extra information about how the show is created. You will get a unique insight into the world of theatre spectacle. The show itself is a regular performance.

Would you like to attend the Kidsproof introduction? Then select the extra option to 'introduction Kidsproof' during the ordering process. There is no extra charge for the Kidsproof introduction.

Age: minimum age is 10 years. Children under 10 are not allowed, at our kidsproof performance the minimum age is 8 years.

On Sunday 6 July, Theatre Spectacle BABY BLUE will also be accessible to people who understand sign language through live interpretation.

Come and see!

On Sunday 7 September, Theatre Spectacle BABY BLUE will also be accessible to people with visual impairments through live audio description.

Going to the theatre, festival or event with a visual impairment? You can! Stichting Komt het Zien! makes theatre experiences possible for people who are blind or visually impaired. Thanks to the live audio description and special introduction, you can follow everything. Visitors with a visual impairment can hear the description by our blind interpreter through headphones and thus miss nothing of the performance. This way, theatre is fun for everyone, even if you see less or nothing at all.

On Sunday 7 September, the blind interpreter of Comes to See will be at Vis à Vis. You can buy special tickets for this day. These tickets include introduction and the use of headphones. You will get these headphones prior to the performance, as well as the special introduction where you might even be able to feel the decor and costumes. A unique experience in other words!
