Exhibition: Sfeer - Trudi van Dorssen
Step into Trudi van Dorssen's world and look through her eyes. Trudi has been drawing since childhood. Over the past 15 years, she has intensively immersed herself in oil painting. In her paintings, you see people in recognisable and surprising situations, and you can imagine the story behind it. In her portraits, you discover the character and atmosphere of the moment, palpable in colour and brushstroke. Let yourself be carried away by her gaze, recognise something of yourself in her work and experience how painting makes you look differently.

About Trudi van Dorssen:
Born in Amsterdam, Trudi van Dorssen has lived in Muiderberg for almost forty years. Drawing has been her hobby since childhood and later came in handy in her work in education. Fifteen years ago, she developed herself more in oil painting. She started with lessons with Heleen van Lynden, followed by Plein air painting with Peter Smit and Eduard Moes. From 2020, she has been working in Herman Tjepkema's painting studio. In summer, she likes to be in France or Italy to paint outdoors. She is also a member of the Art Collective Muiden Muiderberg.
