The Portuguese House (Previously Unreleased)
This elegant, slightly melancholic drama takes on the leisurely pace of life on a quinta, inspired by a true story. The narrative, with great attention to detail, is carried by the warm performances of Manolo Solo (Pan’s Labyrinth) and the ever-fantastic Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction), with the added bonus of a brilliant performance by Branka Katic (Black Cat, White Cat) as a vivacious Serbian waitress with a free spirit.
